Earth Day & Quensus’ approach to sustainability – More than just one day!

Happy World Earth Day everyone! Earth Day reminds us to appreciate our planet and take action to protect it for future generations. At Quensus, we are committed to doing our part to help the environment. Here are some of the ways we are making a difference:

• Our smart water meters help reduce water waste and promote efficient usage. By accurately measuring water usage, we can identify and fix leaks quickly, saving water and reducing the need for additional resources.
• We work with water utilities to help them better manage their networks, reducing water loss and ensuring that valuable resources are used efficiently. This helps to conserve water and protect our natural ecosystems.
• We continually review both our physical and digital products to ensure they are efficient, well-built and use minimal one-use materials. Such as our recent reduction of plastic saving 8 tonnes of CO2 on the redesign of our LeakNet Gen2 product.
• We are also exploring ways to promote renewable energy and reduce carbon emissions. Our technology can help to manage the distribution of renewable energy, ensuring that it is used efficiently and effectively.

Further to the efforts of Quensus as a company, our team also do all they can to protect the planet we inhabit. Robert O’Connor MIWFM, the H2O Hero, is a passionate wild swimmer and environmental advocate. His dedication to reducing his impact on the environment, promoting sustainable practices, and raising awareness about environmental issues, serves as an inspiration for others to take action for a sustainable future on this Earth Day.
